Man Wanted For Forcible Touching At Long Island Stop & Shop

Police are working to identify a man accused of sexually assaulting someone at a Long Island Stop & Shop.

The incident happened shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday, July 8, in Merrick at the Stop & Shop located near Merrick Avenue and Smith Street.

Nassau County Police said the man forcibly touched the victim “in an inappropriate sexual manner.” No other details were given.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
